SectorMatick
The Pilot SectorMatick is Nodus’s second collaborative project with TEAM MATICK, a small group of watch enthusiasts based out of Malaysia since 2015. It features the Sector Pilot as its base model, with a few cosmetic tweaks here and there.
The SectorMatick features a classic two-toned silver sector dial, a first for Nodus’s Sector lineup. With a brushed silver outer ring and grained silver inner, the dial reflects and reacts to the lighting around it, taking on shades and hues from the environment. To this, vibrant sky-blue accents were also added to the hidden Nodus logo at 12 o’clock, hour markers, day wheel and seconds hand. This adds a little “pop” of life to the dial, bringing to mind the clear blue skies that all pilots (or travellers) dream of. And as with the previous collaboration with the AvaMatick, a small and discreet MATICK can also be found just below the Nodus branding.
Turn over the case back and you will be greeted by a custom engraving resembling a Venn diagram with an intersecting centre which is reminiscent of the meaning behind the term “Nodus” (Latin for node, or an intersection of pathways), it also signifies the four guys that make up TEAM MATICK.
