Master-Master-Plan
Every December, we put together a 12-month master-plan to guide the team over the following year. Typically these master plans outline new model releases, restocks, events, tours, as well as other major events that happen in the watch world that we have to be cognizant of throughout the year.
What it does not include, however, is a longer term 5-10 year plan that outlines the bigger picture of what we are working toward. This plan is something that Cullen and I talk and think about daily, but it isn’t explicitly written out the way our shorter term plans are. As our company grows, we feel that is important for us to get our ideas and plans down in writing so that we can be held accountable to sticking to our long term vision for this company.
The obvious first goal as a watch company is to make a watch, then sell a watch. But we don’t believe that this is quite enough to make industry-wide impact, which is ultimately why we are here and what we aspire to do. As we have believed since starting this company, a rising tide raises all ships – and we want to play our part in raising the tide.
This is our master-master-plan, centered around three core pillars: NodeX™ Watch Research, Design Lab, and Intersect™.
